Charlotte Webber and Stuart Eminson



Charlotte Webber studied at Trinity College of Music and is a bass clarinet specialist. She performs regularly with various chamber groups and orchestras around the UK and beyond including performances with the New Music Players and the Thursford Christmas Spectacular production where her and her duo partner Stuart met. Alongside her classical training and performing career, Charlotte has performed on stages around the world in a more commercial setting with the marching art-punk band Perhaps Contraption, the art-rockers These New Puritans and international artist Ebony Bones.

Stuart Eminson has accolades across the musical spectrum; a renowned freelance clarinettist, he has notched up a variety of performance experiences over the years. Alongside playing for many of the leading British Orchestras, he has also performed on BBC2's programme The Maestro, ITV's X Factor, recorded for Sony BMG Classics, Fiction Records, Universal, Electric M.E.L.T, Soul Jazz Records, plus live and recorded sessions for BBC Radio 1, 2 and 3. He has played in countries as far afield as Thailand and Kazakhstan, at venues from the Royal Albert Hall in London, The Hall of Columns in Moscow, to the National Centre of Performing Arts in Mumbai. He has had pleasure in playing with artists (amongst others) such as Smokey Robinson, Nigel Kennedy, Kate Nash, Mica Paris and These New Puritans whom he performed at festivals with through the UK and Europe. He is also a member of one of the leading chamber ensembles, Sound Collective. His studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music. 

When Charly and Stuart first met during a two month musical stint in the North Norfolk countryside, they found an instant rapport which has proven a good friendship and ongoing musical projects of which TWO CLARINETS is the start of.      Classical-Klezmer-Jazz-Contemporary- Django Reinhardt-Artie Shaw-
